NEC Launches Four Retail POS systems in Indonesia - TWINPOS3700G2 is the latest addition to NEC's Family of POS Systems

Jakarta, 4 August, 2010 - PT NEC Indonesia, a subsidiary of NEC Corporation (HQ: Japan), is showcasing four retail point-of-sale (POS) solutions systems for the Indonesian market at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta today, where NEC also launched the TWINPOS3700G2, it latest POS system.
 
The TWINPOS3700G2 is a high performance touch screen POS system, with a wide range of specification choices and peripherals to fit every store system requirement.
This model is NEC's strategic model for especially south Asian market with strategic pricing.
 
The event today showcases three POS terminals - TWINPOS3500SE, TWINPOS5500Ui, TWINPOS3700G2 and TWINPOS3500B1 - which are suitable for various retail formats across different industries. The TWINPOS3500SE is a state of art all-in-one POS system which has been used by major retailers in Japan and in Southeast Asian markets, while the TWINPOS5500Ui is NEC's flagship touch screen POS system. The TWINPOS3500B1 is an entry level POS console box with low power consumption but powerful dual core CPU.
