Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
NEC Indonesia (“the company”) has applied Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) to define standard operating procedure for management of pandemic diseases and prepare the company for emergencies to ensure the safety of employees and business continuity.
The company would like to maintain business operations such as the operation and maintenance of communications systems related to societal functions, in principle, at the request or possible request of government agencies (note: for medical care, police, fire/rescue, communications, mass-media-related services, finance, distribution, energy, etc.)
The procedure shall apply to all employees as well as the contractors, consultants, temporaries, interns, trainees and any other third parties working for the company.
The company also has issued the Covid-19 Response Policy to provide guidelines for all employees to prevent the spread of SARS Corona-2 virus (Covid-19) and mitigate the impact if a confirmed case of employee got infected by the virus in the company facilities.
It is company policy to encourage employee to keep the work environment safe and healthy yet remain vigilant to any potential situation that may spread the disease. The company encourages employee to apply ‘Work From Home’ (“WFH”) practice as suggested by the Government with standard of procedure for WFH application and provide adequate IT facility access to support employee to keep productive while working safely at home. This policy also determines the action in hosting visitors from concerned countries. This policy is applicable for all NEC Indonesia employees, visitors, and contractors who perform activities in the company’s office and warehouse.
NEC Indonesia will remain hopeful by staying close and working together with all our stakeholders during this difficult time. Should you require further clarification, please contact your NEC Representative.
