Jakarta, 26 August 2022 – PT NEC Indonesia (NEC Indonesia) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Industrial Human Resources Development Board, Ministry of Industry, Republic of Indonesia for a partnership in Industrial Human Resources Development and Transformation of Industry 4.0. The MoU was signed by the Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Board, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Arus Gunawan, and the President Director of NEC Indonesia, Joji Yamamoto, during the Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2022 held on 24 – 25 August 2022.

 

The development of human resources in the industrial world is essential for the success of the government initiative of Making Indonesia 4.0, and this MoU will reinforce the policy.

Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Board, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Arus Gunawan, and the President Director of NEC Indonesia, Joji Yamamoto, at the MoU signing ceremony at the Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2022.

 

This cooperation allows NEC Indonesia to support the development of human resource capabilities. It also ensures Indonesia’s workforce is ready for industry 4.0, and can play an active part in supporting the Industry 4.0 Digital Innovation and Capability Center (PIDI 4.0), a holistic facility built as a one-stop solution for the application of industry 4.0 in Indonesia.

 

Joji Yamamoto, President Director, NEC Indonesia, said, “The adoption of industry 4.0 solutions to sustain growth in an increasingly competitive global marketplace has made more and more manufacturers adopt new technologies.
