Jakarta, 31 January 2023 – PT NEC Indonesia (NEC Indonesia) supported the newest PT DOWA Eco System Indonesia (PT DESI) facility in Lamongan Regency, East Java, with integrated ICT infrastructure and an ERP system.

PT DESI is a subsidiary of Dowa Eco-System Co. Ltd., which is based in Japan and has more than 140 years of history, including 50 years of experience in waste management. As a company dedicated to reducing environmental damage from B3 waste, PT DESI requires a reliable system to ensure the plant operates to high quality and safety standards. NEC Indonesia provided a robust and reliable ICT infrastructure that includes a secure cloud-based network, telecommunication system and hardware, as well as access control solutions using biometric fingerprint technology and RFID, to secure the key areas of the facility.

NEC Indonesia also provided a versatile ERP System for PT DESI, complete with a flexible interface that integrates the existing plant’s production system as well as with the Weigh Bridge System (WBS) that is linked to the truck manifest system owned by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of The Republic of Indonesia.
